| LiteraSci is a researched based, standards based, developmentally appropriate curriculum for children in preschool. It integrates social and cognitive learning around a core of hands-on science activities keyed to national learning standards.
LiteraSci provides a strong foundation in language, literacy, mathematics, world knowledge and self-regulation.
The companion ScienceStart! program is designed for children in the primary grades.
LiteraSci and ScienceStart! were developed and field tested under the direction of principle investigator, Professor Lucia French and her colleagues at University of Rochester with major support from the National Science Foundation and the U.S. Dept. of Education.
